Security deposit

Owner aren’t allowed to charge driver a security deposit through our additional payment system or outside the FlynCar platform. Instead, we inform driver at the time of booking that their payment method may be charged if they cause damage during a stay.

Damage reimbursements without a security deposit

If a driver, someone they invite, or a pet causes damage during the rental, the owner can request reimbursement from our platform. If the driver doesn’t agree to accept the owner request and pay it, FlynCar get involve.

If FlynCar gets involved and determines that the driver was responsible, the driver’s payment method may be charged.
