Beginning Your Rental

Start your rental journey by meeting the car owner at the pre-agreed location. The owner will initiate the check-in process on the FlynCar app.

The check-in process involves a step-by-step inventory of the car:

  1. Exterior Inspection: The owner will take photos of the car's exterior to document its current condition.

  2. Interior Inspection: Similarly, photos will be taken of the interior of the car.

  3. Fuel and Mileage Verification: The owner will note the current fuel level and mileage of the car, supported by photographic evidence.

At the conclusion of this inventory check, the Owner will hand you his phone. Please review the photos and confirm that they accurately reflect the car's condition. To confirm your identity, you will be asked to take a selfie and provide a digital signature on the Owner's phone. The person taking the selfie must be the same as the one declared as the driver.

In the event that the Owner cannot access the FlynCar app, both of you will complete a paper Rental Agreement* together and take photographs of the document. The Owner will subsequently send these photos to our Support Team.

Ending Your Rental

The check-out process mirrors the check-in steps. But they can be realize in 2 different ways:

  • First one, you can prepare it by taking photo of the car's exterior, starting with the front and go clockwise around the car to take photo of each angle. And do the same for the car's interior. For that go on your reservation details, you’ll see the button "Prepare check-out"

  • Second one, the owner do it with you, on his phone, during the handover of keys. As well as record the fuel level and mileage.

    After verifying the car's condition, you will be asked to take a selfie and provide a digital signature on the owner's phone, confirming the end of your rental.

    Once validated, the checking process is complete, and you can now leave a comment to the owner.
