Getting Started with Stripe

As a car owner, it's essential to set up a payment account for your rentals. You can opt for either a personal or professional account. Just ensure the ID on your bank account matches the one you use on Stripe (our secure payment system partner).

  • Accessing payment dashboard: Head to the Payment Dashboard in your FlynCar account and follow the instructions to set up.

  • Providing essential information: You'll need to enter details like your name, email, phone number, bank account, and an ID document.

  • Additional documents: In certain cases, we might require extra documentation.

Troubleshooting Payment Issues

  • Check your payment dashboard: All your transactions and transfer statuses are displayed here.

  • Confirm your stripe information: Make sure your billing information in Stripe is up-to-date and verified.

  • Taxpayer identification number (TIN): Have you added your TIN? It's a unique tax ID for individuals or companies in your registered country.

  • Email notifications: Watch for emails from us, as we might request specific documents for verification.

  • Consult your bank: Some banks have unique procedures for international transfers; contacting them can ensure smooth transactions.

Policy on Direct Cash Payments

  • No cash transactions: It’s important not to accept cash for rentals. All payments must go through FlynCar for your protection and to maintain a secure transaction environment.

  • Online payment security: This system safeguards you against risks associated with other payment methods. If a renter cannot pay online, they cannot rent your car.

  • Credit card issues: Renters without a credit card or those whose cards are declined by our payment provider are not eligible to rent your vehicle. Declines can occur for various reasons, including maximum payment limits or anti-fraud filters.
